Ewemove agrees new partnership

Ewemove has been confirmed as the sponsor of Barrow AFC’s football academy for the 2021/22 season.

The agreement means Ewemove become the U12-U16 development phase partner and will also see both academy parents and the club’s season ticket holders receive 50% off selling fees when choosing Ewemove for their next sale.

The online estate agency launched in Cumbria earlier this year by local businessman Daniel Turner, who has spearheaded a number of successful ventures in the area.

The football club’s head of academy, Liam Reid, said: “Without the support of businesses such as them, we can’t provide the experience we strive towards for our players.

“Our aim is for everyone in the town to hear about Ewemove and what they can provide for perspective new buyers and sellers, and we look forward to a great relationship with all involved this season.”

Dan Turner from Ewemove added: “It’s our absolute pleasure to sponsor Barrow AFC Academy.

“Both businesses, EweMove and TNT Records [the club;s new sleeve sponsor], are community driven to help the local football club achieve great things, and we are happy to help in any way we can.

“We are local people who are trying to help the area and our communities the best we can, by providing services (and vinyl) to the South Lakes area.

“We are honoured to help the academy and the local grassroots community, to strive for an amazing experience for all involved.”

Local sponsorship is an excellent idea to get the name bandied  about and hopefully elicit a few instructions in a challenging  market.

Every little helps when setting off on a new venture especially with  no direct experience in the game  .

One of the many  fresh lambs  attracted in this year , Ewemove Barrow opened for business  on the 17h May with an opening offer of selling your property  for  £995 including VAT .

They reiterated this on Facebook on the 22nd  June.

Early doors of course but currently according to Zoopla and the Ewemove website Ewemove Barrow ,Ewemove’s first  franchise in Cumbria  have just the 1 instruction for sale being marketed at   £140k.

They have had  just 1 other since the get go which has  been  sold , so the very best  of luck to them

However  a far cry from the level of instructions highlighted  by the  poster boys and girls being  used in the current recruitment campaign  as Ewemove have ramped up the recruitment drive .

Featuring highly in the current  recruitment campaign  is

Ewemove Herne Hill &  Buxton ,David Wiffen an experienced estate  agent (16 years) started in 2017.

” I listed 16 properties within 3 months of launching with a potential income of £72,831″

    The succcesful Pecks at Beverley

“We signed up £100,021 of sales  in our first 6 months” Back in 2015

New franchisees are currently being  encouraged  to join  with  the hooks

“Experienced agents are flocking to us.Quick..territories won’t be around  for long”

“With property prices remaining high, now is a fantastic time to start looking at franchising with us, so make sure you get in touch before all the areas go! ”

“The Birmingham property market is booming at the moment and as of April 2021, house prices shot up by an eye watering 12% compared to the last 12 months!

If ewe are considering estate agency, one of the benefits of choosing to franchise with EweMove is how you have an exclusive territory to operate in.

We are currently receiving a number of applications for Birmingham territories and they are likely to go fast”

Rinse and repeat for  Manchester and Sheffield too

Yet  in another EYE article today ,properties are being devalued

“The North West has also seen some of the highest levels of value adjustments during the selling process, with 54,043 of the 96,506 homes sold in the last year being down valued.”

“On average, our agents sell a minimum of one property a week and, based on the UK average house price of £330k and an average fee of 1%, after franchise costs this leaves you with an earnings potential of £6k per month!”

This has not been the case for the majority of Ewemove franchisees .The vast majority of the  70 + departed lays testament to that

Thanks Hillofwad for another trademark post of yours. Classic negativity, cynicism and nice news bashing that we come to expect from you.

Best of luck to them. Perhaps that would have been a good place to finish up? No, too difficult for you to just be nice. Okay!

Great to see local partnerships happening and wish you every success guys.

I look forward to meeting you both at some point soon. .

Donovan Maybe reread the post again .
First and foremost as stated local sponsorship  is  an excellent idea to promote the business and  boost instructions and I have wished them the best of luck.

The gist of the post  is that I hope  their expectations haven’t  been raised  too high by the  current recruitment campaign when it’s a challenging  market for even the most seasoned estate agent
You would never guess this  by the continuous information  churned out by the sheep pen .
Replace  cynicism with a sharp dose of reality   “Almost 400,000 homes down valued by surveyors, claims agency”

It’s a shame you haven’t  already met up with them  to share your experience and perhaps of others.   The headline article today

    One question for you

How many current 150 ish franchisees sell 52 properties  a year 20/25? and how many  of the 70+ who have left did apart from those  moving to other franchises within TPFG  Less than a handful?

Donovan Another question ,if I may ?

Do you think running multiple businesses , promoting as a 24/7  dedicated personal service  like the Barrow franchisee and South Shore who both  have  Vodaphone  sales shops which are profitable  increases the  chances  of success?

At least they can support the business financially  at an early stage.
The jury is certainly out as South Shore have yet to gain 1 instruction since kicking off on the 11th May
However the 2 Vodaphone  franchisees Colne Valley and  Wakefield East  have started  well and have already expanded ?

What does seem to be the case is  Mobile phone sales people are  a happy hunting ground for Ewwemove franchisees  .

Interesting to see that the Pecks (Beverley )who came from a succcesful  cleaning business to start  had this to say

“The world has moved on, but they are still doing things the way they did 50 years ago. We are from a marketing background and know how to sell. I don’t even call myself an ESTATE AGENT , but rather a PROPERTY MARKETING EXPERT.”

    Herein lies the rub
