Christmas cheer will be winging its way around the world thanks to an agency’s charity efforts and the generous people of Evesham.
More than 120 boxes full of gifts have been dropped off at the Sheldon Bosley Knight office for the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox appeal.
The team in Evesham has spent the past few weeks collecting the wrapped boxes for the charity, which aims to bring joy to children in 100 countries across the globe living in poverty.
The wrapped boxes are filled with toys, toiletries, colouring books, pens and clothes such as hats, gloves and scarves, suitable for young children up to the age of 14.
It is the fourth year the Evesham office has been used as a drop off point and this year has seen the most successful response to the appeal.
Josh Jones, lettings manager and organiser, said: “Every year, the community comes together, digs deep and is so generous. However, this year has been incredible and to get 120 boxes is very humbling, so I can’t say thank you enough!
“The generosity will help bring joy to so many this holiday season and I’m so grateful for the support. Every box is a reminder of the difference we can make together, so let’s keep the holiday spirit going strong!”
