Staff at Paramount in West Hampstead, London, raised over £3,500 for Agents Giving in a fundraising day with a difference.
Each paid a donation as part of a World Cup themed day, and was given a country to represent.
Everyone went to the office dressed as a representative of their country and also came with traditional foods.
Spencer Lawrence, the firm’s lettings director, went as a sumo wrestler and walked up the high street (he’s obviously not the quiet, retiring kind). A couple of strangers stopped him to give him cash. As you do when you met a sumo wrestler.
The day also brought support from Paramount’s contractors, and resulted in several people walking into the office to see what was going on – and giving money when they heard it was in a good cause.
It sounds like fun!
What an amazing story…….and WOW stunning action photos as well.
Don't know how many will read this important story, or how much the wearing of the sumo outfit affects the online portal debate, or Zoopla shares or office agency v home agency but………

In my mind I was going to do a pound for every comment for nspcc. Unfortunately only 4 quid to them. We should try and lift the amount of comments on these stories…….it provides light relief from our day and turns our minds off the all important portal debate…….next amusing story that attracts 50 comments I'll give 100 to nspcc.
