Estate agents to earn commission from out-of-area leads under new agreement

Homeflow has partnered with the Relocation Agent Network (RAN) to launch Homeflow Referrals, a one-click system that allows estate agents to earn commission on out-of-area enquiries.

The feature, integrated into Homeflow’s Lead Manager software, lets agents instantly refer vendor enquiries outside their local area to a nearby RAN member. If the receiving agent completes a sale, the referring agent receives a share of the commission.

Lead Manager already helps agents qualify leads, prioritise valuations and automate follow-ups. The new referral function adds the ability to monetise out-of-area enquiries, and is available to any agent using the free version of the software.

“Out-of-area enquiries are very often a missed opportunity for most agents,” said Nik Chotai, MD at Homeflow. “By making referrals a one-click process and opening it up to all agents using free software, we’ll help more agents create new income from leads that would otherwise go to waste.”

RAN, an invitation-only network of independent estate agents, will provide its membership of agencies to the partnership. The integration allows agents to refer out-of-area enquiries to RAN members nationwide, connecting vendors with local agents.

Many property enquiries each year fall outside an agent’s area and are either ignored or passed on informally. Homeflow Referrals routes these leads directly to a local RAN member, giving the referring agent visibility of the referral and the chance to earn a fee if the property sells. For RAN members, it provides a new source of vendor enquiries from agents across the UK.
