Estate agents becomes a food drop-off point for struggling single parents

Haart estate agents in Bracknell town centre has become a food drop-off point for struggling single parents.

Kassandra Hopkins, a member of staff for Haart Bracknell, recently got in touch with local charity Single Parents Support and Advice Services (SPSAS), an organisation providing aid to struggling single parents.

Hopkins told the local press: “We have a food collection drop-off for families.

“We have storage boxes that sit in our window where any member of the public can drop off food, with social distancing in mind.

“We will then pass that on to the charity and they will dish that out to those in need, with people struggling at the moment.

“It’s really important for us to be supporting a local charity – at the moment we all need as much help as possible, especially with the lockdown.”

The first food drop-off boxes were issued to the estate agents last Friday.

Hopkins added: “It didn’t take long to organise. management was all on board with supporting the local charity… everyone was on the same page and everyone wanted to help.”

Great initiative. I wonder if Paul Smith would support the same being done across the haart branch network.
