Estate agents are among least likely workers to value their colleagues, claim

Estate agents don’t think much of their colleagues – if a new poll is to be believed.

On average, about 23% of workers believe their colleagues are lazy.

But while construction workers and those in the emergency services value each other the most, estate agents are third from last, with 38% thinking their colleagues are poor at their jobs.

The only groups of workers less admiring of each other were IT personnel, followed by those in the advertising industry.

Common complaints were having to cover up mistakes made by a colleague, and someone else taking the credit.

The poll was, however, tiny, involving just 2,000 Britons and undertaken for no apparent reason by Dropbox and The School of Life.

I laughed at this; as a sales and marketing director working in IT who is FNAEA did I just win a wooden spoon?
