Estate agent to carry out 250 hours of community work

An estate agency in the Isle of Wight is celebrating its landmark anniversary by giving back to the local community.

Pittis will mark 250 years of being in the property business by taking on a ‘250-Hour Challenge.’

Pittis agents will collectively contribute more than 250 hours of service to the Isle of Wight community by the end of the year.

They plan to do this through volunteering, participating in marathons, organising fundraisers or lending a helping hand around the Island.

Their endeavours will include beach cleans, volunteering in local shops like Kissy Puppy’s Sophie’s Shop in Newport and hosting charity days within their branches.

Neil Piper, senior operations director at Pittis, said: “At Pittis, we understand our responsibility extends beyond homes,” says Neil Piper, Senior Operations Director at Pittis.

“For 250 years, we have been deeply rooted in this community, and the people of the Isle of Wight are at the heart of everything we do.

“The 250-Hour Challenge is our way of reaffirming our commitment to the well-being of our community and continuing the legacy of giving back that has defined us for centuries.”
