An estate agent has gone on trial accused of rape.

Guy Hoffman, 25, of Norwich, is accused of raping a woman of 53.

Ipswich Crown Court heard that Hoffman regarded her as a one-night stand and that he had not known her name.

Hoffman has denied a charge of rape in August last year, and of witness intimidation and two further offences of rape on October 5 last year.

Giving evidence yesterday, the alleged victim denied being making up the rape allegations.

She also denied she was disappointed when Hoffman didn’t contact her after their first sexual encounter and denied lying about him threatening her if she didn’t drop the rape charges against him.

The trial continues.
