Bradford City AFC has announced that Whitney’s Property has agreed a new one-year contract which will see the company remain the football club’s official estate agency partner.

The Bradford-based property firm’s branding will continue to be showcased at Valley Parade, with the Whitney’s Hospitality Suite remaining in place.

Whitney’s will continue to assist City’s first-team players with relocation to the area, in addition to offering bespoke solutions in respect of savings and investments, mortgage and insurance as well as pension and retirement planning.

A new relationship with City’s Community Foundation will also see the Bradford based estate agency – currently to be found in Clayton and Thornton – open an all-new branch within the Foundation building on Valley Parade, while supporting many of the Community Foundation’s projects.

Grant Callander, owner of Whitney’s Property Ltd, said: “It has been a great start to the relationship and to be driving things forward with the club is a very important deal for us and, of course, very exciting.

“The new, on-site branch will also be a great way of deepening the relationship, with the club’s players, staff and supporters alike.”

City’s commercial manager, Michael Shackleton (above, right), said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Whitney’s home again for the 2022/23 season, after what has been an enjoyable and successful past year of being affiliated.

“Grant and his team have worked hard to make the very most of this partnership, and that has made for some great exposure and opportunities over the course of the campaign.

“As another Bradford-based business, Whitney’s have already helped a number of our new arrivals this summer relocate closer to the region, which I know is hugely appreciated by the staff and players themselves.

“We are looking forward to continuing to build upon this relationship over the course of the next 12 months and beyond.”
