Estate agency secures main kit sponsorship with top-flight rugby club

York-based estate and letting agency Redmove has been confirmed as the new main kit sponsor for York Knights ahead of the upcoming Super League season, which begins next month.

The agreement represents a record commercial partnership for the rugby league club, as it prepares for its first season competing in the Betfred Super League.

Under the deal, Redmove’s branding will feature prominently across York Knights’ first-team kits, as well as on digital platforms, broadcast coverage and matchday assets throughout the season.

Redmove, a family-run business based in York, will mark its 20th anniversary in 2026. The partnership aligns the agency with the club during a key period in its history as it steps up to rugby league’s top domestic competition.

Redmove director, Michael Redmond, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to partner with York RLFC as Main Kit Sponsor for 2026, and especially proud to do so in Redmove’s 20th year as a York-based family business.

“From the moment we met Clint and the team, the welcome has been exceptional. There’s a real warmth around the club and a genuine sense of excitement about what’s coming next. But behind that, you can feel the drive and determination to establish York as a Super League force.

“We’re proud to back that ambition and to play our part in a journey the whole city can be proud of and we’re excited about what we can achieve together for the club, the fans, and the city.”

York RLFC Chairman, Clint Goodchild, commented: “Your support means far more than just sponsorship. It goes beyond that to become an investment in the whole of the club, its people, players, supporters and the community of York.

“Together, we’re creating opportunities, inspiring the next generation and building something the whole city can be proud of.

“Thank you for being part of the journey with us.”
