An estate agency has bought a local lettings business.

Crofts, run by former professional footballer Gary Croft, has bought Pad Lettings, launched in Cleethorpes by Paul and Desire Whitelam.

Croft said: “We are absolutely delighted to bring Paul and his team at Pad Lettings under the Crofts umbrella.

“I have known Paul for years and I know he has operated a very professional outfit and has enjoyed good success by taking care of his landlords’ and tenants’ needs alike.

“His business is a perfect match for ours. We use the same software and we are hoping that landlords and tenants will experience a very smooth transition over to Crofts.”

Crofts has three branches altogether. The Pad lettings staff relocated into Crofts’ Cleethorpes office last week.
