Wards in Kent has pledged to donate £100 to charity for every property valuation they attend this autumn.
The estate agency, which is part of Arun Estates, is currently donating the money for every property valuation it attends, with hopes to raise £1m for charity.
The group says that it is already halfway to its £1m target, having raised just over £503,000 so far, with the funds set to go towards helping vulnerable children in the local community.
Arun Estates is using its charity pledge in its marketing literature, hoping to entice more homeowners to get their property valued and ultimately increase instructions, as well as raise money for a good cause.
By donating £100 for each valuation it attends, regardless of whether the homeowner decides to sell with Wards, the company aims to support community programmes and help those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis.
Group MD, Aldo Sotgiu, commented: “It’s a real privilege to be able to give back to our communities, particularly vulnerable children who desperately need help at critical times in their lives. We can only achieve this with the immense amount of support from our customers.
“A huge thank you to everyone who has helped raise such an amazing amount of money in such a short space of time. With your help and support it makes all the hard work worthwhile.”
