Estate agents in Thetford, a market town in the Breckland district of Norfolk, got into the Valentine’s spirit yesterday by handing out roses to passers-by.

The Valentine’s Day PR stunt saw Andy Overman and Abbie Lince of Location Location, in Bridge Street, take to the streets with 280 roses.

The pair handed out roses, with a short marketing film made of the event, naturally designed to promote the company.

The flowers also offered a chance to go into a prize draw to win £100 to use at The Mulberry Restaurant to those that posted a picture of their rose on Instagram or Facebook tagging in @locationlocationeast.

Overman told the press: “We wanted to spread a little love to the people of Thetford and to the businesses in the town that have supported us.

“One of our values is caring and listen to the needs within the community and we think doing this today goes with that.”

He added: “We have had so much support since we started and with the likes of our first birthday event on the market square last year that we just wanted to give something back.

“So we hope have made people’s days with these roses and that someone can enjoy a great meal with a loved one whilst support some local businesses too.”
