Estate agency expands with new branch opening and director

North Residential, headquartered in Harrogate, has opened a second new branch this year and announced the appointment of a new director.

The independent estate agency has confirmed its expansion into the West Yorkshire spa town of Ilkley with the appointment of Lucy Crane who will head the new branch.

She joins as a director having worked for Strutt & Parker in Harrogate for almost 10 years.

The growth into Ilkley comes after the business’s opening of its North Leeds branch earlier in the year, with newly appointed equity directors, Emma Kingham and Harriet Cheshire, at the helm.

Harlan Pollitt, director, North Residential, said: “We have continued to cement our place as one of the leading estate agents in Harrogate whilst Emma and Harriet have successfully driven the establishment of the North Residential brand in some of Leeds’ most desirable postcodes and built up an impressive client database.

“Lucy’s appointment is the exciting next step in our expansion – she joins us with an impressive track record that speaks for itself and having lived in Ilkley for a long time, she is the perfect person to spearhead our newest opening.

“She will bring a completely new approach to the area with her dynamic and tenacious personality.”

Crane added: “I am hugely excited to be heading up the new Ilkley branch of North Residential.

“As a local girl, it is a dream to now be working in the area and I am looking forward to introducing my clients to the unique way that we do things at North Residential, with our modern approach to selling properties with hands-on support for both buyers and sellers during what is often one of their biggest life decisions.”
