Red Hot Property has completed the acquisition of Prudhoe-based Yellow estate agency in south Northumberland.

Yellow, launched 20 years ago, covers the Tyne Valley and the west of Newcastle.

Red Hot Property, launched in 2007, has branches in Hexham, Prudhoe and Alston. The company has now been presented with a “great opportunity” for expansion, according to Adele Crocker, managing director of the Castledene Group, which acquired the businesses in 2019.

Crocker said: “The Castledene Group has grown quite substantially over the past decade and we’ve always been keen to acquire agencies who share our ambition to ‘be better’, providing clients with the best possible standards of service.

“Yellow has an excellent local reputation and we’re looking forward to working with the current team as they become part of our team.”
