FleetMilne has acquired Knight Frank’s private client lettings business in Birmingham.
The purchase will boost FleetMilne’s managed lettings portfolio by 20%, adding £55m of assets to its roster.
Two members of Knight Frank’s staff, layana Samuels-Sheridan and Katie Pawley, will transfer across to FleetMilne’s now 14-strong team.
Nicola Fleet-Milne, founder and chief executive of the Colmore Row-based agency, started her own career at Knight Frank in 2001 and has maintained good links with the firm over the last two decades.
She said: “When Knight Frank was looking to divest itself of its Birmingham residential lettings business we were the first port of call. We are a trusted lettings agency and its largely international client base will fit in seamlessly with our own local, national and overseas investor landlords.
“The acquisition of the business fits perfectly with our strategy of growing our managed lettings service.”
Following the acquisition, Knight Frank and FleetMilne will continue to work together across the local Birmingham market and build on their ongoing relationship.
