Martin & Co Huddersfield has acquired independent estate and letting agency ADM Residential in its latest expansion move.
The deal marks franchise owner Will Taylor’s fourth acquisition since he took over the business in 2009.
ADM Residential’s portfolio will join Martin & Co’s existing operation, expanding its presence in the local property market.
Taylor launched the franchise with just one other employee. Today, he leads a team of 12.
He said ADM Residential’s location and portfolio made the deal attractive.
“We are always considering acquisitions and when I met with ADM and they spoke to me about it, I was super excited,” Taylor said.
“Located in a great area of Huddersfield, I thought the portfolio would merge into our existing stock with ease.”
Fourth acquisition for growing franchise
Taylor has completed three previous acquisitions. He said careful planning remains essential when combining businesses.
Operations manager Lisa Hollings has played a central role in the acquisition process.

Taylor said: “Lisa has been a huge part of the success of our business and has played a massive role in integrating the businesses we have acquired over the years.
“Her knowledge of our operation, attention to detail and ability to keep everything moving during an acquisition is invaluable.”
Hollings added: “Every acquisition brings its own challenges, but having a clear plan and making sure the team is aligned from the outset makes a huge difference.
“Our priority throughout the integration of ADM Residential has been to make the transition as seamless as possible.”
Martin & Co says it will prioritise continuity for ADM Residential’s landlords, vendors and tenants.
Toby Phillips, group managing director at Martin & Co, welcomed the acquisition.
He said: “We are delighted to see Will continue to build on the success of Martin & Co Huddersfield with this fifth acquisition.
“His track record demonstrates both a clear appetite for growth and, importantly, the operational experience required to integrate businesses successfully.”
Taylor plans further acquisitions as he expands the franchise’s presence across Huddersfield.
Neither company has disclosed the financial terms.
