easyProperty to splash out on sponsoring TV property programmes

easyProperty is to sponsor TV shows on Channel 4, starting in the New Year.

The deal is for the online brand, licensed by members of the Guild of Property Professionals and by Fine & Country agents, to sponsor ‘Sun, Sea and Selling Houses’, ‘A Place in the Sun’ and ‘A New Life in the Sun’.

The sponsorship starts on January 1 and will run for four months. Viewers of these programmes will see easyProperty branded with the tagline “the online estate agent”.

In total, easyProperty will be sponsoring 180 hours of programming, which is over ten hours a week of television.

Adam Day, head of operations at easyProperty, said: “We’re thrilled to announce this sponsorship. These programmes encourage buyers to follow their property dreams, something that easyProperty is passionate about.

“We can’t wait to see how this campaign will continue to increase awareness and consideration of the easyProperty brand.”

As they already have a TV advert campaign currently i dont see how this will help them much. According to Z, they only took on 1 property in the last 30 days or so. This brand is a fail, the Guild and Fine & Country have made a real mistake in getting involved with them.
