Hortons Estate Agency, which earlier this year received significant investment from private equity house Dunelm Partners, plans to expand across the UK.
The hybrid agency, based in the East Midlands, operates a hub-style service around Leicestershire but now wants to expand nationwide.
The company, which was launched in 2017 by Adam Horton, currently covers Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
The next phase is to expand with a view to offering full national coverage by the end of 2021, according to Horton.
In January, Dunelm Partners, a private investment syndicate, took a stake in Hortons, which only charges if it successfully sells a property.
James Johnson, a partner at Dunelm Partners, has taken a seat on the board at Hortons, which operates with partner agents, with each partner specialising in their local market.
“Modern estate agency is about communication and reaching as many potential buyers as possible, whether that be on Rightmove or social media, the more eyes that see your property the higher sale price you are likely to achieve,” he told The Business Desk website.
“Home owners also deserve to have an agent that is there throughout the process of moving, someone who is fully committed to helping them achieve the right result. I think this ethos is what has set us part from all the other agents in the area.”
