Doing it for charity? Apply for a Rightmove grant

Agents who want to do something for charity can apply now for a grant from the Rightmove Fund.

Administered by Agents Giving, it was set up last year to help agents cover the set-up costs of fundraising events, and a number of agents have taken advantage of the opportunity so far.

The aim of the fund is to inspire more people to get more initiatives off the ground, and give would-be fundraisers the confidence to think bigger with their fundraising targets.

The fund has already helped agents with a diverse range of events, from bake sales and football tournaments to cycling and running challenges.

Here are just some of the upcoming events that agents are planning with the help of the fund:

Strakers in Wiltshire are organising a 10 km run in Cosham for the Forever Friends Appeal – the charity for the Royal United Hospital in Bath. They are using a Rightmove grant to help cover the facilities required on the day

Jacksons Estate Agents in Wandsworth are using a grant to help cover the costs of the quiz night and charity evening they are organising for Beyond Autism. The grant will help to pay for table decorations, the PA system and welcome drinks for the guests

Avery Estate Agents in Weston-Super-Mare are using a grant to pay for the band for their charity ball in April. They are raising money for Above and Beyond, the special care baby unit at their local hospital
