Countrywide Residential Lettings has launched its fourth graduate management programme, in order to source new talent to join this expanding side of its business.
The two-year programme will equip graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career.
The first year focuses on developing candidates’ understanding of the business and the various roles within it, while the second year focuses more on management.
Full training and development as well as coaching and mentoring will be given to graduates throughout the management programme.
Since 2012, 41 people have been recruited through the graduate training programme over the course of four intakes.
The first and second intakes have now finished the programme. Successful recruits now include a student lettings manager, regional trainer and three branch managers.
The latest intake of graduates from across the UK recently completed a three-day induction course at Countrywide House, the group’s head office in Milton Keynes. In addition, the graduates also received the keys to their company car.
John Hards, managing director at Countrywide Residential Lettings, said: “As a major employer in the property industry, with over 12,500 employees across the UK, we believe it is important to give young people the opportunity to learn and develop their skills required to succeed in a business environment.”
Countrywide is now inviting applications here for next year’s graduate training scheme.
Two years experience and they are training a region or running branches …….. And they say standards are low in our industry …. Pah!
