Countrywide and ZPG agree new three-year marketing deal

ZPG has renewed its long-term marketing agreement with Countrywide.

As part of the new agreement, Countrywide will advertise all of its property listings on Zoopla for a further three years from the start of 2018.

ZPG and Countrywide said they “are also committed to maximising the strategic benefits from their partnership”.

Countrywide CEO Alison Platt said: “As the leading property services business across the UK, Countrywide is pleased to have cemented a refreshed and extended relationship with ZPG.

“The benefits to our Group and to our brands are significant and give us a strong platform to grow our business in the coming months and years.”

Alex Chesterman, founder and CEO of ZPG, said: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with Countrywide who have long been an important partner for ZPG, and there are clearly significant opportunities for both businesses as a result of this new agreement.

“We look forward to continuing to ensure that Countrywide’s customers get the maximum enquiries for their properties and to extending our relationship as one of Countrywide’s most effective business partners.”

Countrywide previously had a five-year deal with ZPG. Previously a shareholder in ZPG, Countrywide sold its stake last year.

I’m amazed that all the staff appear to sit there and watch it disappearing down the pan

I would have thought, if the CEO and her team are really to blame then the staff need to speak up/petition, whatever it takes, rather than just witnessing the slow motion car crash everyone else can see happening

I don’t care for Countrywide at all however I do care about the good people it employs

They closed a Countrywide Branch very close to me and kept another different branded agent they own, and now they are destroying that one

It’s shameful. I don’t know the CEO or any of her team however they are now effectively destroying peoples jobs

The choice in the market place is becoming clear

High quality local agency service or on-line

AP seems not to understand this

Mini corporates with 15 offices upward are also vulnerable – their overhead will make them vulnerable too

LOL? “Countrywide CEO Alison Platt said: “As the leading property services business across the UK” and still the total nonsense and delusional propaganda emanates from “comical Ali”!

Good luck to them.  They are a good fit.

Big companies with lots of talented staff on board, drifting across the white line of the road as the drivers nod off at the wheel.

SP hitting a new low this morning  valuing the company at £252 m Add back the debt of £217m and maybe  plenty more  depths to plumb   No doubt some of the  chief fee earners are planning moves with clients in tow as is the way of the world

    No benefit in hanging around

Any capable person still with them ought to be seriously considering their future, before all jobs with competitor firms are taken.
