Connells Group has acquired a major national surveying company.
Its surveying arm has bought the business and assets of Miller Metcalfe Surveyors, which will now trade as Connells Survey & Valuation.
A Connells Group spokesperson yesterday afternoon said: “We confirm we have acquired the business and assets of Miller Metcalfe Surveyors Ltd from its administrators, which safeguards the jobs of all Miller Metcalfe Surveyors’ people, and we welcome them to the business.
“This acquisition supports Connells Survey & Valuation’s ongoing expansion plans and further strengthens our customer service capabilities.”
North-based Miller Metcalfe’s roots go back over 125 years.
It went into administration some 18 months ago, with Julien Irving and Andrew Poxon of Leonard Curtis Business Rescue and Recovery appointed joint administrators in August 2018.
