Connells Group brand Fox & Sons has acquired a lettings business in Salisbury, Jolly Property Services.

The firm was established in 1984, originally to help service personnel let out their homes whilst being posted abroad.

Over the years, the business has grown both organically and through acquisition to be one of the area’s leading independent lettings agents covering Amesbury, Tilsbury, Shaftesbury, Warminster, Salisbury and the surrounding villages.

With owner John Theophilus retiring, the business will be transferred into Fox & Son’s existing Salisbury office and all current members of staff – a team of seven – will be retained.

Connells Group lettings managing director Stephen Nation said: “We are pleased to have completed this acquisition which enhances our position in the local market, grants us access to further tenants and investors, and supports our strategy for growth in our lettings business.”
