Davidson Estates appoints lettings manager
Davidson Estates in Birmingham has appointed Jaime Duffy as new lettings manager.
Duffy has spent the past three years working in the lettings across the West Midlands, as a lettings negotiator at Connells. She was promoted to senior lettings negotiator at the company’s Wolverhampton branch in March last year and then became assistant lettings manager at the same branch in December.
Ben Davidson, the founder and managing director of Davidson Estates, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jaime to our team and I am sure she will quickly settle in.
“We were so impressed with her great personality at interview, and her positive attitude plus her experience at Connells made her the obvious choice for this job.
“Jaime has three years’ experience in the sector and has a demonstrated history of growing skills in negotiation, lettings, home inspections and all landlord and tenant matters.
“She is just the kind of lettings manager we need as we see demand for properties in the city centre, Edgbaston and Harborne continue to grow.”
Davidson Estates recently opening a new office at 102 Colmore Row in the heart of the professional business quarter.
This expansion and the reopening of its head office at 14a Frederick Road in Edgbaston has resulted in the company creating seven new jobs.
Ms Duffy, who was brought up and educated in the Black Country, said: “I can’t wait to help Davidson Estates succeed in its future growth plans,” Duffy said.
Watermans Expands announces director appointments
Watermans, a law firm and estate agency based in Edinburgh and Glasgow, has announced the appointment of Darren and Alistair Lee as directors, as the business seeks to expand its property offering throughout Scotland.
The pair, who join from Keller Williams, will lead the estate agency side of the company, alongside Tzana Webster, who has also been appointed as a director of the estate agency division of the business.

Denzil Baisden named new community engagement officer at Rendall & Rittner
Rendall & Rittner has appointed Denzil Baisden as its new community engagement officer, with a view to strengthening the sense of community experienced by residents living in developments managed by the managing agent.
After spending five years working as a hotel concierge for Hilton, Baisden first moved to Rendall & Rittner in 2009. Initially working as a member of the concierge team, he moved to the head office to work in the estate operations team.
Having briefly left to work as an Account Manager for Abbatt Property Recruitment, he returned to Rendall & Rittner in 2019 as divisional operations manager.
Baisden will focus on a series of events for residents across Rendall & Rittner’s nationwide property portfolio, which includes over 80,000 residential units under its management.
He commented: “Rendall & Rittner has helped me develop my skills and progress in my career. The company is great at matching the right people to the right roles and I am really looking forward to utilising my skills in my new role as community engagement officer.
“I hope that the events run by Rendall and Rittner will encourage a growing sense of community within the developments we manage. I’m most looking forward to planning a calendar of events that residents can enjoy all year round.
