Influential leaders join Digital Sparks advisory board 

Simon Whale, Angi Cooney, Simon Gates and Kirsty Franks

Four influential figures in estate agency have joined the Digital Sparks advisory board to support the property marketing business, as it enters its next phase of growth. 

The advisory board includes:

+ Simon Whale, founder of Kerfuffle and one of the most connected voices in UK property

+ Simon Gates, a leading strategist in digital visibility and modern agent marketing

+ Kirsty Franks, founder of Frank Marketing and a highly respected creative and brand expert

+ Angi Cooney, a business builder and storyteller with deep insight into people and performance

My Property Box appoints chief finance officer

Will Maddock

My Property Box has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of Will Maddock as chief finance officer. The newly created role brings the financial function in-house for the first time, enhancing governance and providing increased strategic oversight.

Maddock joins from Manchester-headquartered Operam Education Group, where he sat on the board for more than seven years and played a key role in scaling the platform through the acquisition and integration of nine educational recruitment brands.

He commented: “The [My Property Box] business has already achieved an impressive track record of acquisitions, and I look forward to helping shape the next phase of its development by ensuring we have the financial strength and systems in place to deliver long-term success.”

 

Resi founder Alex Depledge joins Goodlord as non-executive director

Goodlord has appointed entrepreneur Alex Depledge to its board as a non-executive director.

Depledge, currently the CEO and founder of Resi, a major residential architect, will now support Goodlord, which currently provides software and services to streamline the residential lettings process to over 3,500 letting agent brands across the UK.

Depledge also currently serves as the entrepreneurship advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and sits as an NED on the board of FTSE-100 member Persimmon PLC.

Depledge commented: “I’ve admired the [Goodlord] business – and William’s leadership – for many years, so the chance to support a team with this much ambition and momentum was impossible to resist. Goodlord is a company with both heart and scale, which is a rare combination in tech, and I’m looking forward to helping the team expand their impact even further in the years ahead.”
