Lee Carratt confirmed as LSL’s new franchise partnerships director, following Martyn Alderton’s retirement
LSL Estate Agency Franchising has confirmed the senior appointment of Lee Carratt as the new franchise partnerships director, heading up the Franchise Partnerships Team.
This comes as the team bid a fond farewell to Martyn Alderton as he stepped into retirement last month following 44 years in the industry, with 28 of those dedicated to LSL Estate Agency Franchising.
During his time with LSL, Alderton succeeded across eight different roles including conveyancing and the National Lettings Director for Your Move & Reeds Rains, ultimately taking on the franchise directorship role in 2018, helping to transform the division to a wholly franchised enterprise.
Paul Hardy, MD at LSL Estate Agency Franchising, said: “Martyn and I have worked together on many ventures over the years at LSL and it’s always a pleasure. Conscientious, committed and careful, Martyn never leaves any stone unturned. He will be sorely missed in the Estate Agency Franchising leadership team, and by me personally.”
Tasked with continuing the business growth that Alderton has developed, Carratt will spearhead support for the existing franchisees – 11 brands and more than 300 territories – and help guide and develop business partnerships, introduce new processes technologies and work closely with the Franchise Council to listen and respond to the needs of the network. This is also an exciting time for the director with several new Your Move and Reeds Rains franchise branch openings.
Alderton brings a wealth of industry experience, having joined Reeds Rains in 2012 and running his own agency before that, Lee has seen success across senior roles in both sales and lettings before joining the Franchise team in 2019. He is now set to leverage this expertise to support LSL Estate Agency Franchising’s future growth.
With LSL Estate Agency Franchising’s support, franchisees can take advantage of investment opportunities, marketing, and operational guidance to build a more profitable business.
“I will miss Martyn’s guidance and experience, but at the same time I am delighted to take on the role and I’m excited for challenge ahead.” said Alderton on the appointment.
