Berkeley Shaw appoints new head of residential sales
Merseyside-based estate agent Berkeley Shaw has appointed Karen Parks as head of residential property sales.
Parks has plenty of experience in property sales having worked in North Sefton for more than two decades. She previously worked for Michael Moon, Entwistle Green and Wainwright Edwards before opening her own agency in Formby.
In her new role, Parks will undertake all valuations in Hightown, Formby, Ainsdale and Southport as well as oversee the running of Berkeley Shaw’s Formby branch.
She said: “I’m really looking forward to getting started with Berkeley Shaw. The company has built an effective business model over the many years they have been in operation, with an outstanding reputation for delivering for their clients.”

The appointment follows a series of announcements from the company as Berkeley Shaw aims to expand their reach across the region including a recent merger with Keppie Massie Residential.
Knight Frank relocates its Birmingham office
Knight Frank has relocated its Birmingham office to 103 Colmore Row.
The company has signed a 15-year lease to take 4,376 sq. ft, part of the 18th floor of the 26-storey building, with Sterling Property Ventures and Tristan Capital Partners.
Knight Frank is currently based at One Colmore Row, where it employs circa 50 people. It is set to move to its new office at the end of Q1 2022, increasing its occupation of office space in the city.
Knight frank was advised by national law firm Irwin Mitchell, led by property senior associate Gurpreet Hayer.
Hayer said, “103 Colmore Row is a prestigious building in terms of ESG, design and location and provides a best-in-class working environment. We wish Knight Frank every success in its new home in Birmingham.”
Tom Frost joins Harding Green
Tom Frost has joined Harding Green and is now covering the Kensington area in prime central London.
Frost, who has worked within the property industry for more than 15 years, covering residential sales, new build sales and commercial agency, has lived in Kensington for over 12 years.
Consequently, he has extensive knowledge of the local area and chaired The Kensington Business Forum, setting up ‘Opportunity Kensington’ alongside Kensington & Chelsea Council and the local business community.
