Sheldon Bosley Knight announce key promotions

Sheldon Bosley Knight (SBK) has announced the promotion of two key members of staff.

Lara Hawkins took a leading role in the establishment of the partnership with Jephson Legal and is now working with the residential sales teams helping them grow their businesses. Her efforts are being recognised with her promotion to associate director.

Charles Davis, who joined from Savills in the last year, has quickly become an integral part of our strategic land and development team working closely with custodian Dan Jackson. He has also been promoted to associate director.

Lara said: “I am absolutely delighted to be promoted and I’m really grateful for the opportunities and support provided by the SBK family.

“I’m very excited by this next chapter and continuing to be involved in the success of SBK.”

Charles said: “I am very pleased to be promoted to associate director. The company is moving from strength to strength and I am excited to be part of that process moving forward.

“The people within the business are fantastic and there is so much potential for the future.”

Sheldon Bosley Knight custodian Mike Cleary said: “I am very proud of both Lara and Charles. They have only been with us a relatively short period of time, yet have hit the ground running and made a hugely positive impact already.

Akeel Bashir joins Kurtis Property

Kurtis Property has appointed Akeel Bashir as a lettings consecutive at their head office in London, E18.

Bashir has worked within the property industry for the past 10 years and has brought his experience and knowledge to Kurtis, as they look to grow their presence in the areas they cover.

Elliot Dash, Senior Director at the company commented: “He (Bashir) arrives with extensive knowledge and experience of the market and will be a great addition to our team.”

Bashir added: “With my ample years of experience, I feel like I have hit the ground running by upkeeping the company values and bespoke property services and aspire to grow within my role.”

 

Hill promotes Cain Peters to managing director special projects

The Hill Group has announced the promotion of Cain Peters to managing director in charge of special projects, which specialises in large high density construction projects.

Cain, who began his journey with Hill as a site manager 17 years ago, will leverage his extensive experience managing this region, which includes key joint venture partnerships and has become a major pillar of Hill’s recent success.

Since 2015, in his role as regional director, Cain has worked closely with the special projects region. Cain will now manage a team of over 100 employees and a division with a projected turnover of £300m for the current financial year.

Andy Hill, group chief executive of The Hill Group, said: “Cain has demonstrated exceptional loyalty and a commitment to continuous improvement during his time at Hill. This latest promotion is both a well-deserved progression for Cain, reaffirming the confidence I have in his lead and develop further our Special Projects team to remain the ‘partner of choice’ on large joint venture projects with key partners across London and the South East.”

Peters commented: “I am passionate about Hill and proud to have been a part of the company’s success over the past 17 years. I look forward to leading the Special Projects division and contributing to the company’s future achievements and planned period of growth.”
