Strettons appoints new non-executive director and chairman

Malcolm Nicholls

Strettons has appointed Malcolm Nicholls as its new non-executive director and chairman.

Nicholls has been appointed to further strengthen Strettons’ ongoing growth and provide strategic advice to its board of directors.

During his 35-year career, Nicholls has held many senior executive roles in large international businesses, including within Nokia as head of sales and P&L owner for a 22-country global account, and as global head of sales strategy & operations.

Nicholls has grown services business working with clients such as Vodafone, Hewlett Packard, Deutsche Bank, BT and Pfizer,

Nicholls commented: “Strettons is consistently amongst the most active agents within its core markets and has responded well to the changing market conditions, providing an excellent service to its clients. This, along with the ambition and vision of the Board of Directors presents an excellent opportunity for the future growth of the business. I am looking forward to working with the team and identifying markets and strategies to further increase revenue.”

Marsh & Parsons’ lettings director joins Hamptons 

Graeme Young

Hamptons, part of Connells, had appointed Graeme Young as regional lettings director.

Young is now in charge of lettings across 14 Hamptons branches in the south and south east for England, and joins the company’s senior leadership team as a member of the residential lettings board.

Young joins Hamptons, having previously spent 17 years at London-based Marsh & Parsons, including six years as lettings director.

Young said: “As regional director of the south and south east my geographical remit is expansive. Each branch operates within its own idiosyncratic market and it’s this diversity that presents a dynamic and invigorating opportunity.”

Catherine Westerling, head of lettings at Hamptons, commented: “His [Young’s] passion for our industry, drive to surpass customer expectations and immense dedication to creating and nurturing high performing teams align perfectly with our culture and values.

Knight Frank announces new head of north London super prime lettings

Francesca Fox

Knight Frank has appointed Francesca Fox as head of super prime lettings in north London.

This newly created role is the next step in the expansion of the firm’s super prime lettings team.

Fox has just over 11 years of experience in the prime and super prime rental market in North West London, most recently spending six years at Beauchamp Estates as a lettings manager.

In Fox’s new role she will cover the super prime lettings market across north London, being a dedicated single point of contact for clients whilst working in close collaboration with the firm’s network of local offices, private office and specialist lettings desks.

Tom Smith, head of super prime lettings at Knight Frank, commented, “Francesca will spearhead our operations across St John’s Wood, Hampstead, and Belsize Park offices, bolstering our expanding super prime division.

“With an extensive background in North West London real estate, Francesca brings a wealth of experience, an established and loyal network, and a tremendous amount of professionalism and drive.
