Savills promotes Victoria Knight to head of office in Henley-on-Thames
Residential sales director Victoria Knight has been promoted to head of office at Savills Henley-on-Thames.
Knight, who joined Savills in 2002, has been part of the Henley team since 2015.
She takes over the reins from Stephen Christie-Miller who has led the office since 2005 and will continue in his role as residential sales director, specialising in prime country houses.
Knight said: “It is a real privilege to take the next step and lead our exceptional team here in Henley.
“Stephen will be a very hard act to follow and I’d like to thank him for all of his hard work, support and guidance. He has overseen growth of the business and steered us through the challenges of the pandemic and some tricky market conditions with a calm head and a steady hand. I’m delighted that he will remain in his role as residential director – allowing the team to continue to benefit from his in depth knowledge and wealth of experience.”
Along with her new role, Knight will continue to lead the team that specialises in the sale of prime country houses, while fellow residential director Charlie Chavasse will lead the team focussed on the sale of town centre properties and those in surrounding villages. James Harrison will continue to lead the lettings team.
Commenting on Knight’s appointment, Christie-Miller said: “It has been an absolute pleasure to lead our Henley office for the last 20 years. The success we’ve achieved is a direct result of the great team we have in place and – having worked with Victoria for a number of years – I know we are in superb hands.
“She consistently delivers exceptional results and provides sound advice to the benefit of clients and work colleagues alike. Her hard work and dedication makes this promotion very well deserved and I wish her a long and enjoyable tenure.
