Danielle Nash promoted to Managing Director at Property Academy

Danielle Nash

Operations director at Property Academy, Danielle Nash, has been promoted to managing director of Estate Agency Events Ltd, the umbrella company responsible for Property Academy, EA Masters and Best Estate Agent Guide.

After working with founder Peter Knight for almost 20 years, and possessing a managerial role at Property Academy for the last decade, the promotion will see Nash become responsible for all operational, budgetary and logistical requirements for the three brands falling under her remit.

Knight said: “Danielle and I have worked together for almost two decades, and during that time she has remained incredibly motivated, forward-thinking, and has proved her exceptional management and operational skills.

“I know she will do a brilliant job of running Property Academy, EA Masters and Best Estate Agent Guide, whilst I move into a growth-focused role, expanding into new sectors and continuing to chair several of our Leadership Groups.”

Nash added: “Working closely with Peter over the past 17 years has given me an incisive understanding of our business and its evolution.

“This promotion signifies not just my personal growth but my commitment to steering our company towards continued success. I’m really excited to lead the team through new chapters and build on the solid foundation Peter and I have cultivated together.”

 

Savills appoints new head of residential lettings for Beaconsfield and Amersham offices

Savills has appointed a new head of residential lettings for its offices in Beaconsfield and Amersham.

Daniel Spratley has more than 10 years’ experience within the rental sector, having previously worked for the lettings team at Savills Beaconsfield and for various lettings agents across London including Strutt and Parker, John Wilcox and Co and R Whitley and Co.

Most recently he has spent the last two and a half years working as part of the residential sales team at Savills Beaconsfield.

Spratley said: “It is a real privilege to take the next step and to lead our teams in Beaconsfield and Amersham.

“The rental market in South Bucks continues to be very active – with strong demand in particular for family homes close to lots of amenities and within a short distance of train services into London.

“We are fortunate to have a very strong team covering the whole of South Bucks and I’m excited to have an opportunity to shape this further.”

Gordon Hood, who leads the lettings teams for Savills across the Home Counties, added: “He [Spratley] has worked in lettings for the majority of his agency career and I look forward to watching the teams in Beaconsfield and Amersham thrive under his leadership.

“His appointment signals our continued commitment to strengthening our teams and ensuring our offices can provide the very best service to our clients.”

 

Carter Jonas strengthens planning and development team

Carter Jonas has expanded its Oxford planning and development team with the addition of two development surveyors.

Edward Walter and Finn White, who have just qualified in Carter Jonas’ rural and commercial departments respectively, increase the team to 20 professionals.

James Cordery, partner, planning and development, said: “We are extremely pleased to be growing our planning and development offer as we welcome Edward and Finn to the team.

“Both will assist us in providing advice to a range of private and public sector clients on a broad cross-section of agency, valuation and consultancy matters.”

Emma Jewson, partner, planning and development, added: “It is great that, in addition to both Edward and Finn qualifying with us, we have been able to respond to the next stage of their career aspirations and retain their skills within the business.

The appointments highlight the continued growth within Carter Jonas, which has more than 90 property professionals based in Oxford.

Its Mayfield House office provides a host of services including residential sales and lettings, commercial property management, infrastructure, energy, and rural matters including estate management and natural capital.
