Sam Graham appointed head of South East development land agency
BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker has appointed Sam Graham as head of development land agency for the South East.
Graham will be based in the Strutt & Parker Guildford office, and joins from Redrow Homes where he held the role of head of land.
Prior to this, he was senior land manager at Bellway Homes, and head of development agency at Cluttons for 18 years. He has over 20 years’ experience working for consultants and housebuilders specialising in development land acquisitions, disposals and valuations.
Notable projects Graham has worked on include agreeing heads of terms for a site with outline planning permission for 750 units at Uckfield’s Seghers Place, consultancy and disposal of 21 assets totalling £85m across Greater London for London City Mission, and strategic land advice for The Somerset Family over land in West Durrington which amounted to 760 units.
Graham’s appointment is the latest within Tom Stanley’s growing national development & planning team totalling 65+ people as he rolls out the firm’s strategy to capture increasing demand for infrastructure and regeneration project support across the UK. It follows James Barrett joining as national head of affordable housing.
Graham said: “Joining such a collaborative team at its growth phase is incredibly exciting. I look forward to utilising my consultancy and client experience to bring added value and expertise.”
Tom Stanley, head of development & planning at BNP Paribas Real Estate, added: “The UK has an abundance of underutilised land that could be allocated for development. The South East is the second most developed UK region and as such requires a particular expertise to unlock more potential, of which Sam is the ideal candidate.”
