PFK appoints new director

Michael Hewitt

PFK in Cumbrian has announced the appointment of a new director.

Michael Hewitt, who worked as PFK Estate Agency’s Cockermouth branch manager, joins the company’s directors.

A spokesperson from PFK Estate Agency said: “Michael and his team have continually exceeded expectations over recent years and we are extremely glad to be able to share his passion and expertise with the entirety of PFK.”

Lynne Lancaster, head of estate agency at PFK Estate Agency, added: “Michael has been an integral part of the PFK Estate Agency team for over seven years and has successfully run our Cockermouth branch whilst continuing to be the market leader in his area.

“This is the next step in Michael’s progression, and we welcome him onto the estate agency board to help us drive the business forward.”

PFK said that Hewitt will remain the branch manager a Cockermouth.

 

Beresfords announces board appointments 

Bernie Barcham

South East property group, Beresfords, has announced the appointment of Bernadette Barcham (Bernie) and Nicki Treffers to its Board of Directors. The appointments mark a significant milestone for the company as it continues expansion and reinforces its commitment to providing exceptional services to clients across the region.

Barcham, who is director of lettings, has been a part of the Beresfords since 1995. She has been appointed as a main board director for Beresfords Lettings Ltd having played a pivotal role in the development and expansion of the lettings division.

Barcham said: “From joining the original lettings office in Brentwood, it has been an incredible journey working with the company and I am proud to have seen the growth and success of the lettings division. I am certainly looking forward to being part of the board and continue driving our company forward.”

Nicki Treffers, currently director of new business and marketing, has been appointed to the main board of the Directors of Beresfords Residential Ltd.

Initially joining as a marketing manager on maternity cover, Treffers made a significant impact, eventually becoming the director of new business and marketing.

Treffers commented “Joining the board of directors is an incredible milestone in my career. I appreciate the trust and support I’ve received from Beresfords, which has allowed me to contribute to its marketing successes and secure valuable new business opportunities. I am really excited to take on this new role and work closely with the board to drive continued growth and success for us all.”

James Vandenbrook joins Mark Jenkinson

Mark Jenkinson, the Sheffield property auctioneer, has appointed a new associate director.

James Vandenbrook joins Mark Jenkinson, which runs monthly online auctions in conjunction with North West-based Pugh, from chartered surveyor Barnsdales, where he was a director and headed the Doncaster-based firm’s auctions team for more than 10 years.

Vandenbrook said: “Mark Jenkinson has a long-standing reputation in South Yorkshire for its excellence and expertise in property auctions. This is a really exciting time to be joining the firm as its strategic partnership with Pugh expands its geographic reach and network exponentially.

“I’m looking forward to playing a key role in the firm’s future success, bringing over a decade’s experience of the South Yorkshire property auctions market and the extensive contacts I have built up in my role as head of auctions at Barnsdales.”
