Savills appoints director of sales
Mark Redfern has joined Savills Sloane Street office as director of sales.
Redfern, who has worked in the prime central London housing market for 25 years, joins Savills from Savills after four years at Oculus Property Advisors, the property search agency he founded. Redfern also spent 13 years working at Knight Frank.
Redfern’s new role will focus on the sale of properties situated across Belgravia, Knightsbridge, and Chelsea.
He commented: “I am delighted to be joining such an illustrious company as Savills. The Sloane Street PCL and Private Office team is made up of some of the most highly respected and connected individuals within the London residential business. I am excited to now be part of the Sloane Street team and I look forward to our future successes together.”

Steve Ryan joins The Property Jungle
Property website developers, The Property Jungle, has announced that Steve Ryan has joined the team as national sales and account manager.
Ryan brings with him more than 30 years’ experience in the property industry, starting from grass roots estate agency, moving onto branch manager and then owning his own agency.
Ryan later moved across to conveyancing as a business development manager. From there he went on to become senior regional manager, then national sales manager for The Guild of Property Professionals.

Wedlake Bell promotes new real estate partner
City law firm Wedlake Bell has announced that Rachel Walbourn in its real estate division has become a partner in the firm.
Walbourn joined Wedlake Bell in 2011 and qualified in 2014. She is an expert in development work, advising developer clients on the acquisition and disposal of residential and mixed-use developments, including the disposal of affordable housing land to registered providers.
Walbourn said: “The real estate practice has created an environment that has enabled me to thrive and to develop the skills required to provide the firm’s clients with a first class service.
