Spicerhaart appoints its first shared ownership sales director
Spicerhaart has appointed its first shared ownership sales director.
Courtney-Reigh Gannon, 32, takes on the role which will specialise in working with developers and housing associations to market shared ownership opportunities.
Gannon started working with Spicerhaart almost ten years ago as a trainee negotiator. Within two years she had been promoted to assistant branch manager and that is when she was first introduced to new homes.
She commented: “I realised this was the area of the business that I loved. Progressing a shared ownership purchase is like doing a jigsaw puzzle and it’s so satisfying to bring together all the elements you need to help someone find their new home
“For me it’s all about the customer journey. I’m often working with first time buyers and it’s great to be able to hold their hand through the process and help them be able to buy a home that might otherwise have been out of their reach.”
Gannon is looking to grow her team to provide shared ownership specialists across the national Spicerhaart network.
She added: “It’s my am to make Spicerhaart the brand of choice for housing associations and developers. Very few agents have specialist teams working in shared ownership, so my new role will help us grow our reputation and our business in this area.”
Tim Wardley, Spicerhaart land and new homes managing director, commented: “We are delighted to promote Courtney-Reigh to this new role. She is passionate about helping people afford to buy a home in their local area and I’m looking forward to seeing her grow this area of our business.”
