Fine & Country’s Welsh offering strengthened by trio
Fine & Country has expanded in Wales with a new license founded by former partners at McCartneys Estate Agents, Tom Carter, Jamie Tulloch, and Mark Fish.
The new North Wales license marks a significant expansion for the brand into this part of the country, despite no physical office.
Carter commented: “We jumped at the opportunity to create Fine & Country North Wales for three main reasons. Firstly, there are tremendous properties across the region, which we feel would benefit from all that Fine & Country has to offer when it comes to marketing. Secondly, we believe that there is a gap in the agency market across the area serving the premium property market, and finally, it is an absolutely stunning part of the world in our opinion.”
He added: We will not have a physical high street office as we feel that the buyers for the types of property we will be selling will be coming in to the area from elsewhere, and think that the brand’s global network is going to be more beneficial to our clients than a high street presence in North Wales.”
Tulloch said: “Having worked with the brand across Mid Wales and Shropshire for approximately the last 20 years, gaining particular traction in the last five or six, the chance to launch Fine & Country in such a wonderful area was a no brainer. The brand has evolved considerably over the years and with everything that Fine & Country now offers, combined with our successes in growing the brand in our previous territory, we are excited to bring Fine & Country’s exceptional services to North Wales.”
Fish added: “North Wales offers a complete lifestyle change or, in fact, a different way of life, whatever buyers are looking for. The area offers particularly great value for money in comparison to many other parts of the UK, yet is still incredibly well connected, therefore offering the best of both worlds.”
Nicky Stevenson, managing director of Fine & Country, expresses her excitement about the expansion into North Wales.
She said “We are thrilled to see Fine & Country North Wales launch under the capable leadership of Tom, Jamie and Mark. Their existing knowledge and experience of the brand is a phenomenal advantage and I look forward to helping the team celebrate many successes in the coming months and years. They have already hit the ground running in every sense and truly embody the Fine & Country brand.”
Savills promotes Natalie Howlett-Clarke to head of Norwich office
Savills has announced the promotion of residential sales director Natalie Howlett-Clarke to head of its Norwich office.
She has taken over the reins from Mark Little who has led the team since 2020.
Little, who has been part of the Norwich office for 35 years, will continue in his role within the rural management division. Howlett-Clarke is joint head of the residential team at Savills Norwich having joined the business in 2005. She specialises in the sale of prime city residences and period country properties.
Howlett-Clarke said: “It is a real privilege to take the next step and lead our exceptional team here in Norwich. Mark will be a hard act to follow – he has overseen growth of the business and guided us through the challenges of the pandemic with a calm head and a steady hand – and I’d like to thank him for all his hard work over the last three years.
“We have a very strong multi-discipline team covering the whole of Norfolk and north Suffolk and I’m excited to have an opportunity to shape this further with the support of the significant wealth of expertise we have across a diverse range of departments.”
Little added: “It has been an absolute pleasure to be an ambassador for our Norwich office for the last three years. The success we’ve achieved is a direct result of the great team we have in place and – having worked with Natalie for a number of years – I know I leave the office in superb hands. I wish her a long and enjoyable tenure and I look forward to continuing my work within our rural team as we head into 2024.”
Richard Rees, managing director of Savills UK, said: “I would firstly like to thank Mark for his commitment and dedication during his tenure as head of Norwich and am very pleased that he will be continuing within the business. We are also delighted to welcome Natalie to her new role and look forward to watching the Norwich office thrive under her leadership.”
