Aykroyd & Co expands with two key hires 

Aykroyd & Co in prime central London has recruited two new team members, Chloe Leefe and Suzie Goodhew.

Chloe Leefe

Leefe, who joins Aykroyd & Co as a director, has more than 15 years’ experience in the prime central London market.

She said: “I am thrilled to join Aykroyd & Co as a director. The dynamic, energetic and ambitious company feels like a superb fit for me at this stage of my career. It is a privilege to be part of a close and knowledgeable team and I look forward to hitting the ground running.”

Suzie Goodhew

Suzie Goodhew recently joined the firm as an associate at Aykroyd & Co, having previously worked at Strutt & Parker and Harrods Estates.

Goodhew will be focused on helping to provide a seamless client experience, assisting with operations, PR, marketing and business development. She is also fully qualified in Anti-Money-Laundering and brings with her a wealth of experience in financial and legal due diligence.

Goodhew commented: “I have been impressed by the energy and enthusiasm of everybody here. I’m really enjoying working in this highly professional environment”.

 

Andrew Wilson joins Dacres

Andrew Wilson has joined Dacre, Son & Hartley in Settle, Yorkshire, as a sales valuer.

Wilson, who grew up in Settle, first started working in the industry eight years ago.

He said: “I was keen to join Dacres which is a market leading firm with a great reputation across North and West Yorkshire. It’s a varied and busy role and the property market is extremely active at the moment. I’m really looking forward to working with Tom, senior sales negotiator, Mel, and Ian, who provides mortgage advice, and feel very privileged to be helping people bring their homes to the market.”

Tom Galloway, who heads up the Settle office, commented: “We sell every type of property from smart apartments through to country homes and farmhouses, across a wide catchment area spanning the Ribble Valley, Yorkshire’s Three Peaks district and Kirkby Lonsdale. Andrew has the right experience, industry qualifications and approach to customer service, as well as excellent local knowledge, and he is a welcome addition to our team.”

 

Burrington Estates appoints new managing director 

Burrington Estates has promoted Grayham Tucker

Burrington Estates has promoted Grayham Tucker to the role of managing director its South West region.

Tucker, who previously held  the role of commercial director since the formation of the business in 2016, will look to utilise his 20 years of industry experience to further help the business expand.

Burrington Estates currently has a number of available residential property developments spread across the South West of England, including Stowford Mill in Devon, Upbury Grange in Dorset and Home Farm in Exeter.

A qualified RICS Quantity Surveyor, Tucker joined Burrington Estates following a six-year commercial management role at Taylor Wimpey. He has played an integral part in building the company alongside founders Mark Edworthy and Paul Scantlebury, helping to secure a £70m turnover in 2020.

Now as MD, Tucker is looking forward to seeing the company develop further as it expands in the south west and across the Central region, formed a year ago.

He said: “My new role will focus on growing and expanding our presence in the region, driving new land purchases and working closely with the councils and lord communities to deliver much needed homes to the area.”

“Since joining Burrington Estates, I have seen the company grow from strength to strength, becoming a highly regarded business in the South West, and now witnessing its exciting expansion into Central England.
