The Letting Partnership expands team to meet industry demand post lockdown
Mannie Tupholme joins as Client Accounts Manager and will oversee the day to day management of tasks, people and training on the processing side of the business.
The Letting Partnership, which is a provider of services to the lettings industry, has also created two new roles within the business, including Client Induction Lead John Westwood, who will specialise in bringing new clients on and Client Liaison Lead Matt Kemp Smith, who will focus on retaining and relationship building with existing clients.
The company is also recruiting two new apprentices who will report to Tupholme and enable the Client Processing Team to take on additional work. In August, the Financial HealthChecks team will have extra support from new recruit Kayleigh Croft. There has been a strong demand for this online service as many lettings agents and accountants continue to work from home.
Jenny Markham, CEO of The Letting Partnership, said:
“We know there will be an increased demand for our services as letting agents look for ways to redeploy staff to focus on other areas, such as driving forward business growth. They will need increased support from us in client accounting and client money protection. “

Founder of Metropix floor planner returns with new iPad app
The founder of Metropix, the estate agency floor plan tool, has introduced a new iPad app that’s ‘quicker and easier to use’ than its predecessors.
Max Christian has launched ‘RoomScan LiDAR’, which uses the lasers found in the latest iPad Pro to measure rooms with even greater accuracy.
Max, who co-founded Metropix in 2004, said: “Using the iPad Pro’s improved scanners we can measure a room in seconds, add doors and windows, and link rooms together with just a few taps of the screen.”
Richard Whitehurst is Business Development Director at Locometric, which has developed the app.
He said: “I’m delighted to be supporting Max with RoomScan LiDAR. Having worked in the lettings business, I was desperate for a quick and simple solution to generate floor plans on the spot while out meeting landlords. I wish I’d had this at the time.”
The LiDAR laser scanners that the app uses are currently found in the latest iPad Pro, launched in March 2020. The next-generation iPhone, due in late 2020, is expected to feature the same technology.
