Cluttons has opened a new office on King Street in Manchester, which will be headed up by partner Charlie Ardern.

Ryan Jones, a partner who also joined from Avison Young, will work alongside Ardern at the new Manchester office. He has 17 years’ experience in the local property market.

Other recruits include Sally Allsop, a senior surveyor in valuation who came from Lambert Smith Hampton, and Georgie Park, a graduate who will mainly support the valuation team.

Darren Zitren, head of networks estates management, and Josh Kleppen, senior surveyor in compulsory purchase orders, have relocated to Manchester from the London office. Investment and leasing agent James Horner will also support Cluttons’ northern hub from his base in Leeds.

“Building our geographical coverage across the UK is a key part of our growth strategy”, said James Gray, managing partner at Cluttons. “We see the city [Manchester] as an ideal location to launch and grow a northern hub over the next few years.”

Cluttons says that it will be adding to its team in Manchester over the coming months.

Ardern commented: “We are excited to welcome several new senior people to the team over the next few months and be able to replicate the successful model of our London office by working together to service clients better and offer them more across all sectors and disciplines.”
