Chestertons announces first global franchisee as British agent rebranding in Corfu

Chestertons has announced its first global franchisee.

He is Piers Williams, who will be opening Chestertons Ionian, in Corfu, just before Easter.

Williams is already an established estate agent in Corfu, having set up Ionian International in 2002.

In addition, he is managing director and co-founder of London firm Silvana Estates and was previously director of international sales at London firm Aylesford International.

Chestertons is expecting to announce more recruits to its franchising programme shortly.

Its current network includes 33 company owned branches in London, plus 70 associated branches overseas.

Last year, it launched a franchising offering which would allow UK businesses outside London and overseas to operate under the brand for the first time.

Surprised that the first Franchise was not in the UK.

This Greek Office, I think, was part of the network already.

Look forward to seeing how Chestertons grows, what is known as a London brand exclusively, outside of London.
