A charity has thanked the estate agents from various agencies who took part in this year’s London Estate Agents 10k Race.
It raised money for Housing for Women, a Brixton based charity which houses and supports vulnerable women and their children in London.
This is the third year that Housing for Women has organised this event, with many new agencies taking part this year.
Participants included estate agents from Currell, Fine and Country, Marsh and Parsons, Chelsea Square, Winkworth, Stirling Ackroyd and Hamways. There was also a guest team from the charity’s corporate supporter Net-a-Porter.
Altogether the teams raised £11,200. With this money, Housing for Women will be able to continue to provide accommodation and in-depth support for vulnerable women and their children.
This includes those who have fled domestic violence, women who have been trafficked for exploitation, and mothers leaving prison who wish to be reunited with their children
