Change of name for the firm that convinced agents about floorplans

Specialist industry marketing business Niche Communications is changing its trading name this week.

As from Thursday, it will be known as NicheCom. There will also be a new logo and a revamp of its website.

The Berkshire-headquartered firm is marking its 25th birthday.

Founded by managing director Andy South, it started with two people and now has over 200 employees in the UK and South Africa, and visits over 80,000 properties a year.

South said: “There have been many milestones along the way. For example we were the first company to convince estate agents that floorplans should be integral to the selling of property.”

Niche is also introducing a new ‘teaser’ video, free for agents who already use the firm’s professional photography service. It is branded for each agent and designed to help agents connect with potential buyers through social media. There’s an example below.

Just one time I would love to see one of these professional photo companies use photos of a regular 3 bed semi that is a bit shabby and see how their guys tidy it up and make it look nice!! Anyone can make a million pound home look good and our photos don’t end up looking like fake CGI’s

I can do that kind of ‘video’ on facebook in 5 minutes! The MoShow app makes crazy slideshow things that are easy to share too.

I once got Niche to photograph a property and they sent 8 very grainy, doctored photos that made the carpet look like it was wavy. Never again.

HEY – don’t knock shortening you name, folks.  It never did me any harm…

…I just didn’t spend squillions on some poncy agency telling me it was “a positive direction in which to steer myself” or similar marketing *********** (credit: Jonnie)!

If you are thinking of selling your home, then you should check out the local market conditions for your neighborhood. The floor plan should be presented well. If the plan is not written description and context, then including one is pointless. Everyone has their own personal feelings on how they like a property to be set out. Apart from providing floor plans you can also renovate your home by installing beautiful hardwood flooring by visiting flooring stores like https://zothexflooring.com, Hardwood Flooring stores, etc., you can also repaint walls to neutral tones, touch up any scuff marks, add some plant and also give buyers an opportunity to see the layout before they buy it.
