Most readers will have heard of agency trainer Julian O’Dell, and many will know that he and his wife, Cat, are tireless campaigners and fundraisers for cancer charities. Cat has had the illness but is now, mercifully, in remission.
Their big fundraiser of the year is Catfest, a festival of music and fun held at the O’Dell’s home near Milton Keynes.
In 2016 they raised £31,000 and in 2017, with help again from Property Industry Eye and many generous supporters, Catfest achieved a whopping £35,000. Of course we all want to see that total smashed at this year’s event.
One of Julian’s many talents (aside from his ability to choose a natty tie) is as an accomplished artist and EYE has auctioned several of his works in the past.
For 2018 Catfest we are giving readers the opportunity to make ‘Best Bids’ for some of Julian’s wonderful drawings and we know that EYE readers will be their usual generous selves in helping us to push Catfest past last year’s total.
Below are the nine drawings on offer. Each of the three highest best bidders will get to choose one of the drawings, all of which are around A3 in size. The pictures will be framed and sent by Julian to the winners as soon as possible after bidding ends.
To take part, email me your best bid and say which personality you will choose if you win. The reserve price is £100. In the event of matching bids for the same drawing we shall conduct a closed auction between the bidders.
You have until midday next Friday, 3rd August, to send me your best bid. Email nick@propertyindustryeye.com
Please dig deep, people. Cancer is something that unfortunately could affect any of us and our loved ones so anything we can do to help beat it is money very well spent.

Hats off Mr O’Dell (and PIE), some rather fine work indeed and for a superb cause.
