A car smashed into a Longsons estate agency branch in Norfolk on Sunday night, leaving a passenger with life-threatening injuries and the shopfront badly damaged.
The black Kia Magentis crashed into the agency’s office on Watton High Street shortly before 11pm on 1 November.
Firefighters freed the driver from the vehicle. Paramedics took both men, aged in their 30s and 40s, to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Police confirmed that the passenger had suffered life-threatening injuries.
The collision left shattered glass and debris outside the branch, prompting police to cordon off the area.
Norfolk Police closed Watton High Street at its junction with Dereham Road and warned that the closure could remain in place for some time.
Structural engineers were due to assess the building’s safety following the impact.
The full extent of the damage to the estate agency remains unclear.
