Car crashes into front of estate agency

A car crashed into the front of an estate agency in Prestwich last week, causing damage to the shop front.

Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and fire crews, cordoned off the area on Bury Old Road following the incident.

The vehicle reportedly collided with the Northern Flats office, part of a parade of shops, after being involved in a four-vehicle collision.

Several police vehicles, along with fire crews and paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service, attended the scene. Part of the pavement in front of the row of shops was cordoned off for safety.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that a car had struck the property but reported no serious injuries. One woman was taken to hospital from the scene, the force added.

The editor must love these stories. I’m just waiting for the follow-up article: ‘How a 2-tonne hatchback in the lobby affects the office’s EPC rating.’ Wishing the injured lady a very speedy recovery.
