Broadband and Sky TV supplier to letting sector signs deal with tenancy referencing firm

Home Telecom, a specialist broadband supplier to the letting sector, acquired by Spark Energy, has signed a major partnership agreement with property services company Let Alliance.

The partnership will give some 2,000 letting agent customers of Let Alliance potential access to Home Telecom’s broadband and media packages, which are tailored for the rental market.

Through letting agents who sign up, tenants can access Sky TV packages linked to the length of their tenancy alongside broadband services that are live in time for move-in, while letting agents will generate incremental income for their businesses.

Ian Crowther, Spark’s commercial director, said: “Like us, Let Alliance is committed to adding value to letting agents and making life easier for tenants.”

Andy Halstead, CEO at Let Alliance, said: “Let Alliance work exclusively with letting agents. We are committed to developing our proposition and creating new partnerships, like this one with Home Telecom, that help to add value to our letting agent customers.

“In Home Telecom, we’re delighted to be partnering with a company that knows the lettings market and offers packages that work for customers within it.”

Home Telecom says it is the UK’s only provider of short-term Sky TV packages with broadband deals that can be as short as 30 days.

Packages as short as 30 days. I left SKY when they quoted me longer than that to install on a house move and I was a customer of 20 years. Good luck with that.

Spark?  After my wife’s experience with them I will never do business with them.  I am unable to comment on their business practices
