Best Estate Agent Guide launches UK-wide campaign targeting consumers

To coincide with the so-called Boxing Day “bounce”, which some estate agents view as a key marketing day, the Best Estate Agent Guide has announced plans to launch a major nationwide campaign, targeting millions of consumers.

The campaign will seek to encourage homeowners to look for the coveted gold and silver medals when selecting an agent and highlights how a listing in The Best Estate Agent Guide is seen as a mark of industry approval.

The Best Estate Agent Guide wants to convey the message that it provides an independent and trustworthy source of information to help homeowners compare agents and find the best in their area, based on the criteria which matter most to them.

It wishes to make consumers aware that these criteria are determined by responses from thousands of surveyed buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, providing a better understanding of their opinions and expectations of the home moving process.

More than 13,000 estate agency brands are independently assessed, through comprehensive data analysis of every single listing that appears on the web over a six-month period, plus Google ratings and Google review sentiment analysis, producing the largest study of its kind every year.

Peter Knight, founder of The Best Estate Agent Guide, said: “We want the public to be as well informed as they possibly can be when it comes to selecting an agent. We look at property marketing, customer service and results, and only the best agents are listed in the Guide.

“Our campaign will bring the Best Estate Agent Guide medals to the attention of millions of consumers and will raise awareness like never before. Being able to display this award is the perfect way to stand out from the crowd and prove your agency really is one of the best.”

The ‘Best’ (according to the guide) Estate agent in our town, closed it’s branch recently as they weren’t making any money, and no others local agents are listed, despite there being several others in the town. Doesn’t seem that ‘comprehensive’ to me…………….

Never has to me either! There are some great independent agents in our area, but it seems to predominantly feature the corporates…

I think that the Best Estate Agent Guide is an excellent idea and appreciate the fact that EA Masters are attempting to promote it even further.
Of course, a number of the results won’t tally with the local experiences of estate agents all of the time but as a general guide, it’s uses a data based approach that is difficult to challenge overall.
