Auction House has been joined by Hampshire-based auctioneer Pearsons, increasing the company’s total number of auction rooms nationwide to 37.
Pearsons was established in 1900 and has 13 agency branches across the region.
Auction House founding director Roger Lake said: “We are delighted to welcome Pearsons to our ranks. They are a significant player in the industry, with years of auction experience behind them.
“This move gives Auction House additional coverage on the south coast – including Southampton, Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight and beyond.”
Pearsons auctioneer Toby Wheatley said: “The benefit of the Auction House brand is that sellers will know that they are putting their property into a nationally recognised auction.
“From a buyer’s perspective, they will have access to a larger, more varied and comprehensive catalogue.”
