Are you up to speed with the Renters’ Rights Act?

Rightmove is hosting a live Q&A webinar today to help agents better understand the Renters’ Rights Act and its practical implications as the measures begin to take effect.

Running from 10am to 11am, the session will be available via the Rightmove Hub.

According to Rightmove, more than 1,000 agents have already registered for the webinar, which is designed to help professionals keep pace with a rapidly evolving legislative landscape and shifting customer expectations.

The event also presents a fresh marketing opportunity for the portal. Attendees will be offered access to a free trial of Tenancy Manager, recently updated to ensure it is aligned with the requirements of the Renters’ Rights Act.

Delivered in partnership with Training For Professionals (TFP), the session will allow agents to put their most pressing questions directly to industry experts.

David d’Orton‑Gibson, managing director at Training For Professionals, has previously run a lettings agency and trained landlords, agents and housing organisations across England and Wales.

Participants will also be given access to 12 guides covering areas including student lets, rent reviews, pets and ending a tenancy.

The webinar will join a host of other resources on Rightmove’s Renters’ Rights support hub for agents: Get Renters’ Rights ready – Rightmove Hub

Jason Charles, head of education at Rightmove, said: “The Renters’ Rights Act represents one of the biggest changes the lettings industry has seen in a generation, and it’s vital that agents feel confident about what it means in practice. This live Q&A gives agents the chance to get clarity on the questions they’re facing right now, straight from experts who understand the realities of working in the sector.”

Agents can register to attend and submit questions in advance by clicking here.
